The Industrial Emission Demonstration Projects is funded alongside Section 50161 of the Inflation Reduction Act (Advanced Industrial Facilities Deployment Program ) in a funding opportunity titled Industrial Decarbonization and Emissions Reduction Demonstration-to-Deployment. Topic Area 1, Near-Net-Zero Facility Build Projects, is funded through IIJA.
On March 8, 2023, DOE issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement for approximately $6 billion under the IIJA and/or Inflation Reduction Act. Concept papers are due April 21, 2023 and full applications are due August 11, 2023. DOE anticipates selection notifications in early 2024: Source
