On June 29, 2023, USFS also announced $250 million available for Fiscal Year 2024 Forest Legacy Program projects funded through the Inflation Reduction Act, which will run in conjunction with the Forest Legacy annual proposal process for Land and Water Conservation Funding (LWCF).
