Carbon Storage Validation and Testing

Description:

The Carbon Storage Validation and Testing program funds the feasibility, site characterization, permitting, and construction of new or expanded commercial large-scale carbon storage projects and associated carbon dioxide transport infrastructure through Phase II, III, III.5, and IV of the Carbon Storage Assurance Facility Enterprise (CarbonSAFE) Initiative.

Eligible applicants include individuals, higher education institutions, for- and non-profit organizations, state and local governments, and tribal nations.
