Description:

To establish a competitive technology prize competition to award prizes for precommercial carbon dioxide capture from dilute media – media in which the concentration of carbon dioxide is less than 1 percent by volume. To be eligible, projects must demonstrate a design that will be operated on a demonstration scale, a successful bench-scale demonstration, or an operational carbon capture technology on a commercial scale.
