Implementation Status/Rulemaking:
Alliance for Green Heat, a non-profit organization, was selected to administer and distribute the $8 million in grant funds made available in the IIJA for firewood banks. In FY 2023, $590,077 was distributed to 47 firewood banks. A full list of grantees is available here. Approximately $696,280 will be made available during FY 2024.
