Description:

For grants to State, local, or Tribal governments to study the impacts of a high-voltage interstate or offshore electricity transmission line; study alternate locations for the project; participate in regulatory proceedings or negotiations; carry out other actions to support the speedy approval of the project; and carry out economic development activities for communities affected by the project, as long as there will be no outlays after FY2031.
