Description:

For grants and other activities authorized under subsections (a) through (c) of section 103 and section 105 of the Clean Air Act. This includes establishing and administering a national research and development (R&D) program for the prevention and control of air pollution, as well as an R&D program for sampling, measurement, monitoring, analysis, and modeling of air pollutants; and grants to air pollution control agencies for the prevention and control of air pollution or implementation of national primary and secondary ambient air quality standards.
