Description
The Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot (DCIP), authorized in FY2019 and first funded in FY2020, provides 70% cost share grants to state and local governments to “address deficiencies in community infrastructure” that supports military installations, according to the Department of Defense. Eligible grantees include transportation, community support facilities (e.g., fire department, school), and utility projects that will enhance military value, instillation resilience, or military life.Additional Program Notes & TCS Insights
