Description

The Forest Health Management (FHM) – Federal Lands program provides technical assistance to federal lands managers for surveying, monitoring, prevention, and suppression activities to mitigate the threat of pests and disease on federal land. The U.S. Forest Service indicates that some of these activities, such as tree thinning, are related to wildfire risk reduction.
