Description

From FY2012 to FY2017, Integrated Resource Restoration was a pilot program to combine budget items for Wildlife and Fisheries Habitat Management (within National Forest Service), Vegetation and Watershed Management (within National Forest Service), Forest Products (within National Forest Service), Legacy Roads and Trails (within Capital Improvement and Maintenance), and Hazardous Fuels Outside of the Wildland-Urban Interface (within Wildland Fire Management) for 3 U.S. Forest Service (USFS) regions – the Southwestern, Intermountain, and Northern Regions. The goal of this pilot program was to give the USFS’s more flexibility in implementing activities within these program areas.
