Description
The Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program is a part of the Sustainable Range Program (SRP), established in 2001. According to the Department of Defense, ITAM’s goal is to provide Army officers with “the capability to manage and maintain training and testing land by integrating mission requirements with environmental requirements and sound land management practices.” ITAM funds work assessing land quality, integrating training and land management requirements, rehabilitating training land, and educating land users.Appropriations
