Description
The Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Grant program provides 75% cost share grants to state, local, and tribal governments to plan and implement disaster mitigation measures, including against wildfires.Additional Program Notes & TCS Insights
From FY1997 to FY2018, the funding available for pre-disaster mitigation was appropriated on an annual basis. In FY2019, the PDM program was funded through the DRF as part of the transition to the new funding model (the BRIC program) which began in FY2020.Appropriations
