Description
Formerly known as the Forest Stewardship Program and renamed Working Forest Lands 2019, this program provides nonindustrial private forest landowners with financial and technical assistance to increase the economic and natural resource value of a forest, which may include funding for activities related to wildfire risk reduction. Funds are distributed to state forest agencies, who in turn provide assistance to private landowners.Appropriations
